Propwave is a real estate marketplace for property discovery, listing management, verification, legal services, estate management, and related property transactions. This Privacy Policy explains how Propwave collects, uses, shares, stores, and deletes personal information.
This policy applies to the Propwave website, mobile app, APIs, and related services. By using Propwave, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect account information such as your name, email address, phone number, password credentials, role, company or agency details, professional license information, and communication preferences.
We collect property, listing, enquiry, saved-property, comparison, verification, legal-service, transaction, payment-status, support, notification, and message activity that you submit or generate while using Propwave.
Where you choose to upload them, we collect verification documents, identity documents, property documents, listing photos, profile photos, and related file metadata. We also collect device, session, IP address, browser, app version, and basic diagnostic information needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
We use personal information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, route users to the correct role workspace, publish and manage listings, support property enquiries, process verification and legal-service requests, provide customer support, and send service notifications.
We use payment and transaction information to initiate payment flows, reconcile payment status, produce receipts, and support dispute, refund, audit, tax, regulatory, and fraud-prevention obligations.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve Propwave features, reliability, marketplace quality, fraud detection, and product performance.
We share information with agents, agencies, developers, estate managers, lawyers, buyers, renters, investors, or other counterparties when you choose to contact them, list property, request a service, or participate in a transaction.
We share information with service providers that help us operate Propwave, including cloud hosting, authentication, email, storage, payment processing, fraud prevention, analytics, document processing, verification, and customer support providers. These providers may only use the information for the services they provide to Propwave.
We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, law-enforcement request, dispute process, safety investigation, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Propwave, users, and the public. We do not sell personal information.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide Propwave services, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, support audits, and meet legal, tax, accounting, anti-fraud, and regulatory obligations.
Some records connected to transactions, payments, verification decisions, property disputes, legal-service matters, fraud prevention, or compliance may need to be retained after an account is deleted. Where retention is required, we limit use of that information to the required purpose.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transport, secure credential handling, and role-based authorization.
No service can guarantee absolute security. Users should use strong passwords, keep account credentials private, and contact us immediately if they believe their account has been compromised.
You can update parts of your account profile, notification preferences, and security settings from within the Propwave app or website. You may also contact us to request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion of your personal information.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under privacy laws such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act, UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or other applicable laws.
You can initiate account deletion in the mobile app from Security & Privacy by choosing Request Account Deletion. You can also request deletion from the web at https://propwave.co/account-deletion or by emailing info@propwave.co from the email address linked to your Propwave account.
When you request deletion, we will verify your identity, disable or delete the account, and delete or de-identify personal information that is not required for legal, regulatory, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, safety, or audit purposes. We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law or the request is complex.
Deleting the app from your device does not delete your Propwave account. If you have active transactions, open verification cases, pending payments, legal-service requests, disputes, or unpaid obligations, some information may be retained until those matters are resolved.
For privacy questions, account deletion, or data-rights requests, contact Propwave at info@propwave.co. Please include the email address connected to your account and the type of request you want us to process.
